Welcome to the new site! Thanks for stopping by for a visit and for checking out the “all new” blog!
It was a lot of hard work this summer getting the site just right, but I’m happy to finally be in a position to focus on my true goal of reaching out to people though presentations and personal relationships. I’ve been a public speaker for 17 years and never tire of the rush I get from helping people think, communicate, and interact in ways they never thought possible. I’ve had the incredible opportunity to give over one-thousand presentations and assemblies (in addition to mentoring hundreds of teenagers) over the years and am one of the few people who can say that I truly love my job.
In fact, I’m so excited about the new site and my passion for the work I feel so blessed to do, I want to make a big announcement on Tuesday. I’m waiting until then because I know you’ll be resting from your labor this weekend, so let’s all take a break from work for a few days! Until then, here are three things you don’t know about me:
1. When I was 17-years-old I was given the opportunity to fly a small 4-man airplane. We were near the city of Harrisburg, PA and I turned the wheel too hard and nearly clipped an antennae sticking out from the roof of a building!
2 . In 1997, I was living in Los Angeles and got into some acting. My only paid gig was in a Snoop Dogg Video entitled, “Wanted: Dead or Alive.” I never really told the story about this experience because I figured no one would believe it. With the advent of YouTube, though, it has now become one of my favorite things to share in my assemblies! Look it up!
3. I have been INSIDE one of the pyramids in Cairo, Egypt. The passage is so narrow, you have to hunch down and “duck-walk” to get to the center. It was a little scary!
Do you have an interesting story or experience? Feel free to comment and share what happened!
Thanks again for stopping by and I’ll see you Tuesday for the big announcement!
